A place with history.
A restaurant with heart.
Named after the Dame of Sark, Hathaways has welcomed visitors to the historic La Seigneurie Gardens for many years.
Originally part of the old stable buildings serving the Seigneurie estate, the restaurant occupies one of the island's most unique and characterful settings.
In 2024, Scott and Mags undertook an extensive refurbishment, carefully preserving the charm and heritage of the building while creating a fresh new chapter for Hathaways. A new bar, redesigned interior, and beautiful covered terrace have transformed the restaurant into a welcoming space that can be enjoyed whatever the Sark weather may bring.
Today, Hathaways celebrates the very best of Sark — bringing together exceptional local produce, handcrafted cocktails, carefully selected wines, and genuine island hospitality in the heart of the island's most remarkable gardens.
